Montana Supernatural Sightings Are Not Uncommon
There have been rumors in Montana of all sorts of creatures. Sightings of Wendigos, ghosts and aliens have been reported all over the place in Montana but no actual evidence has been produced. I have always believed in the supernatural including experiences I have had personally. Another mythical legend of Montana is the Flathead Lake Monster.

The Flathead Lake Monster In Montana
The Flathead Lake Monster is said to be an eel shaped creature 20 to 40 feet long. Sightings have all included colors ranging from brown to blueish black and is reported to have black eyes.
First reported in 1889 there have been nearly 100 accounts of someone witnessing the monster and they seem to always be at least once per year. The monster has been nick named "Flossie" due to its correlation with the Lock Ness Monster, or Nessie for short.

According to flatheadlakers.com in 1993 there was a retired fisheries biologist names Laney Hanzel who worked with a former editor of the Flathead Courier and they were able to gather 13 sightings of the creature. Many others have reported sightings since 1993 including residents of the area and people who were visiting for the first time.
The Flathead Lakers ask that anyone who sees a creature out on Flathead Lake report it to them and will add the account into the historical archives of the Flathead Lake Monster, or Flossie.
