Currently Great Falls has the Trailside Dog Park. If you have ever been there it is a great space for dogs big and small to run and play.

Sometimes you can tell by the parking lot that there are just too many dogs for your comfort. Maybe your dog is a shy guy and doesn't want to be crowded.

There are a large number of apartment complexes that allow pets but may not have a place for the dogs to run and get out energy that would otherwise be spent tearing up the couch.

What Is The Best Solution To A Crowded Dog Park?

Sure you can always scope out the dog park and wait to find the less busy times for you to take your furry companion but that can lead to a lot of time in the car.

Dogs should never spend too long in a car even if the air is on it can still get warm for them quickly.

So, What If Great Falls Had ANOTHER Dog Park?

There is no shortage of parks in the Electric City that have space enough to add in a wonderful dog park. Some of the great features of the current dog park include, "separate fenced areas for big dogs and small dogs... divided by a plaza with benches and a pavilion."

They also have on site plastic bags and garbage containers to clean up after your pup and the most popular feature, a doggy drinking fountain! Oh and a drinking fountain for you as well.

Those features plus more could be included but the largest benefit? When one closes down for maintenance the other could help pick up the slack!
