Over the last few months, numerous restaurants have announced plans to move to Great Falls, Montana.

Some of these restaurants have already opened, while others are still working on their location here.

One way or another, folks are definitely excited about some new dining options in the Electric City.

Old Chicago

Shortly after Boston's restaurant closed in Great Falls, the announcement was made that Old Chicago purchased the location and planned to begin renovations.

I haven't heard when Old Chicago in Great Falls is set to open yet, but it definitely appears to be in the works.

Pizza Ranch

Pizza Ranch has plans to move into the old Joann Fabric location on 10th Ave.

Like the other restaurant listed above, there has been no word on a potential opening date yet.

Texas Road House

There have been a lot of rumors and confusion around Texas Roadhouse coming to Great Falls.

From everything I understand, Texas Roadhouse does have plans to come to Great Falls and either move into the Holiday Village Mall or a location near the Holiday Village Mall.

I hate to spread more rumors without any facts to back up what I'm saying, but that seems to be the word on the street, at least.

Tasty Hot Pot: Now Open

Tasty Hot Pot recently opened in the old MT Pints location just across from the Montana Expo Park.

I haven't visited this restaurant yet, but I understand that it offers a unique Chinese-inspired dining experience.
