Ready-To-Eat Meals Recalled Over Listeria Concerns

Good grief, more food recalls over listeria?

What food has been recalled this time?

Well, this time it isn't pasta.  It's spinach and cauliflower.

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert for meals from HelloFresh due to the spinach included in the meal possibly being contaminated with Listeria.  There's also another recall issued for Blue Apron meals, this time over riced cauliflower.  Both brands are subsidiaries of FreshRealm, who reported the potential contamination.

So far, this appears to have no connection to other recalls, like the two separate ongoing recalls linked to pasta.

What meals do I need to be on the lookout for?

The meals being recalled are:

• Hello Fresh Ready Made Meals Cheesy Pulled Pork Pepper Pasta - Establishment Number EST. 47718 with Lot code 49107 and Establishment Number EST. 2937 with Lot code 48840

• Hello Fresh Ready Made Meals Unstuffed Peppers with Ground Turkey - Establishment Number P-47718 with Lot codes 50069, 50073, or 50698

• Blue Apron Cheesy Chicken Mac with Vegetables - Establishment Number P-3081 with lot codes 25240 and 25247

• BALANCE by Marley Spoon BBQ Sauce Beef Meatballs with Cheesy Cauliflower - Establishment number Est. 47718 with lot code 25255

So far, there haven't been any reports of anyone getting sick in connection with the recalled meals.
