I Lived a Hunter's Dream While Growing Up on the Strand Ranch in Geyser, MT

I fully admit that I lived an extremely privileged childhood and teen years in terms of hunting access.  Growing up in Central Montana on one of the prime areas that hunters sought access to, I often had run of whatever area I wanted, pretty much when I wanted and for whatever game I had a license for at the time.

Like I said, privileged.  But at the same time, I had respect for the land hammered into me from a young age by both grandparents and father alike.  And occasionally one old cowboy that always had a lesson to teach and a non-filter Camel cigarette hanging from his buckskin gloved hand.  It also gave me perspective; the side of the landowner.
