Montana might be a state of immense acreage, but when tragedy strikes a community, especially smaller ones, those miles seem to melt away once the rallying cry has been made for help.

Just one short year after tragedy struck in Anaconda at the Owl Bar, the city is once again faced with the same scenario.  And just like it always does, Montana is coming together to support them.

Bars Across Montana Rally to Help One of Their Own This Weekend

Coming this weekend on July 11th, 2026, bars across Montana will be uniting again to help one of their own.  This time in support of the owner of Carmel's Bar in Anaconda, who was killed in June of this year.

The fundraiser has been spearheaded through the High Tides Casino and Bar in Anaconda.  A portion of the sales through the date will be donated to the efforts of helping Carmel's Bar recover from the tragedy.

Great Falls Residents Can Help This Weekend at the Hi Ho Tavern

As bars across Montana continue to sign up, the social media page Anaconda Tragedy Let's Do It Again This Time for Carmel's has said over 30 owners and establishments have committed to helping raise money.

In Great Falls, the owner of the Hi Ho Tavern is joining in the cause and will also be donating $1 from every drink sold during the day.  You can learn more about the fundraising efforts for Carmel's Bar in Anaconda here.
