We're about to enter one of the most festive times of the year. Shoot, you can argue that we're already there as cooler temps move in as we get closer to Halloween.
And that's one of the reasons we're here today: Halloween. We're still over three weeks away from the spooky holiday and yet, there are some who are already two holidays ahead.
How Soon Is "Too Soon" To Start Celebrating Christmas?
It's a debate as old as time itself: "When is the right time to put up the Christmas tree?"

The thought occurred to me as I was picking up some hickory logs from the grill section at Home Depot here in Great Falls. Immediately across the grill section sits an entire section devoted to Christmas decorations and trees.
And look, you can do as you wish. If you want to put your tree up in July, keep it up year round, it's your right to do so. On the other hand, there are some who prefer to stop and smell the roses, giving themselves time to relish and embrace the "current" holiday season.

Now, it must be said that Home Depot also has an extensive Halloween section on full display, complete with the creepy oversized mannequin creatures. So, it's not like they're completely skipping over the holiday and jumping straight to Christmas.
