The Most Searched Word Definition in America Vs. Montana
Every day, people hop on Google looking for everything from recipes and craft ideas to restaurants, hotels, and answers to random questions.
One of the most common searches is simply asking what a word means. Unscramblerer found that "gaslighting" was the most searched word definition across America. Montana, however, had a completely different word at the top of the list.
I'll be honest, I was pretty surprised when I saw what it was because it seemed so random compared to the rest of the country.

Montana's Most Googled Word Is Surprising
While other states were searching for words like "love" and "fascism," along with "gaslighting," Montanans were searching for the definition of "gouache" more than any other word.
Be honest. Did you know what "gouache" meant without looking it up, I know I didn't?
In case you were wondering, according to Google it is a style of painting that uses opaque water-based pigments thickened with a glue-like substance.
Now I'm just curious what was going on in Montana that had so many people looking that word up, because I have a feeling Google isn't going to explain why everyone suddenly needed that definition.
