Well, Halloween has come and gone, and we all probably ate way too much of our kids candy once they went to bed.

What Is Not To Love About Halloween

It was a nice year for Halloween as we didn't have any snow and it really wasn't too cold for both parents and kids who went out trick-or-treating.

Our family loves Halloween and getting dressed up, but sadly I wasn't able to this year as I was an idiot and bought a costume, but didn't try it on until the day before and realized it was too small and there was no way I could return it for a new one.

Trunk Or Treat, Or Trick-Or-Treat?

When it comes to getting candy on Halloween, I loved going all around the neighborhood and getting candy from all the houses.

These days more families are opting to doing just a trunk or treat get-together, where a group congregates in a parking lot and then kids just walk around going from car to car getting candy.

Jenni Allen wrote an article stating why she thinks trunk or treating is ruining the spirit of Halloween in Montana and making us less friendly with our neighbors.
